Navel Orange Jack O'Lanterns

I remember making these as a kid.
You just need 6 navel oranges, 1 carton of chocolate ice cream, 3 cinnamon sticks (cut in half)
Prep time: 20 minutes
Freeze time: 2 hours
Cut off the top of an orange, slice out the stem part. That's where the cinnamon stick will go.
Scoop out the innards. Put them away for later. Cut out faces!
Slowly spoon in your chocolate ice cream. Be careful not to rip the oranges when scooping everything out. Put the lid back on top, use a cinnamon stick to hold it on. Freeze for 2 hours.
Love seeing these guys peeking out of the freezer at me! But what to do with the fruit?? Smoothies!

Place in blender with 3 small (or 2 large) bananas and up to 1 cup of low-fat vanilla yogurt. Strain, it was pretty pulpy, but delicious! And the jack o'lanterns were amazing. They absorb the orange flavor into the chocolate ice cream. The kids loved them!
